The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
